A wreath is a symbol of everlasting life and eternal love. With no beginning and no end, it is timeless.
I love a classic Christmas wreath made from evergreen boughs adorned with a simple red bow.
They are so easy to make, and you can use the boughs you trim from your Christmas tree or from trees outside as well as sprays of cedar, holly and winter berries.
Here’s what you do:
- Buy a Christmas wreath frame with twist ties attached. You can use it year after year.
- Cut the boughs to appropriate sizes and fit them around the frame, securing in place with the ties.
- Fill in the gaps with smaller boughs and sprays of cedar, holly and winter berries.
- Attach a bow and hang it on your door with a wreath hanger. Put felt pads on the back of the wreath hanger to protect your door.
