Equipment
- 1 skillet
Ingredients
- 4-6 Pork chops thin and boneless
- Salt sprinkle
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 Onion small, finely chopped
- 1/2 Red bell pepper chopped
- 2 Garlic cloves minced
- ½ cup Milk
- ½ cup Sour cream
- ½ – 1 tsp Paprika to taste
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Ground black pepper
Instructions
- For tender, juicy pork chops, sprinkle with salt a few hours before cooking. Then cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to prepare.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear pork chops on both sides, about 2-3 minutes each side or until they release from the pan. If they do not lift from the pan easily, they are not ready to turn. Allow them to sear a little longer.
- When both sides are seared, transfer from the skillet to a plate.
- Add prepared onion, red pepper and garlic to the skillet and sauté until tender.
- Return meat to the skillet.
- Combine milk, sour cream and seasonings in a two-cup measure and pour over meat.
- Reduce heat to low and cover.
- Continue cooking while you prepare the rest of the meal.
- Remove lid and allow sauce to reduce until thickened, if necessary.
