Kneeling for hours and getting my hands stained with Prince Edward Island red dirt is one of my favourite hobbies.
I plant the seeds. Then I water, weed and watch my garden grow.
And a bountiful harvest is my reward.
What a thrill to make supper from food that came from the earth a few minutes before.
