Marinated Carrots
Dress up your carrots with this tangy marinade. An excellent addition to any meal. Allow to marinate a few hours or overnight.

Ingredients
- ½ pound Baby carrots or sliced carrots
- ¼ cup Onion finely chopped
- ¼ cup Red bell pepper finely chopped
- ½ cup Tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp Granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp Cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a saucepan, cover carrots with water. Add ½ tsp salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes until tender crisp.
- Meanwhile combine remaining ingredients in a bowl.
- Rinse carrots with cold water and drain.
- Add carrots to bowl and stir to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.
