Ingredients
- 4 cups Raspberries fresh or frozen
- 1 ¼ cups Granulated sugar
- 1-2 Lemons two lemons may overpower the raspberry flavour
- 4 cups Boiling water
Instructions
- In a large heavy saucepan, combine raspberries and sugar. Heat over medium heat and stir until sugar is dissolved and the flesh from the berries cooks off the seeds.
- Pour the mixture through a strainer and discard the seeds.
- Add the juice of one or two lemons and the boiling water. Stir.
- Let cool and then refrigerate.
- When chilled, serve over ice.
