You may shy away from making these amazing brownies in a cast iron skillet, but if you pour the batter into a hot skillet, you do not have to worry about it sticking.

- 1 8-inch cast iron skillet
Ingredients
- ½ cup Butter
- ¼ cup Cocoa powder
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- ¾ cup All-purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- ½ cup Chopped walnuts
- ½ cup Chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- In an 8-inch cast iron skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in cocoa completely, then remove from heat.
- In a medium bowl, beat eggs until frothy. Add sugar, flour, salt and walnuts. Don’t stir yet.
- Pour cocoa mixture over top and stir all together. (Set skillet back on stove at medium heat to pour batter into when mixed.)
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter back into the hot cast iron skillet.
- Place in preheated oven.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until edges start to pull away from sides of skillet.
- A wooden toothpick should come out moist with no batter clinging to it.
