These sloppy Joes are a quick, tasty weekday meal. Something the whole family will enjoy. Complete the meal with fries and coleslaw.

- 1 large skillet
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 Onion small, minced
- 2 Garlic cloves minced
- ¼ cup All-purpose flour
- 398 mL Tomato sauce 1 can
- ¼ tsp Chilli powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp Honey
- 1 tsp Prepared mustard
- ¼ cup Ketchup
- ½ cup Water as needed
- 6 Hamburger buns
Instructions
- Preheat a large skillet or frying pan.
- Brown beef until no pink is showing.
- Add ½ cup water to the beef and stir to rinse off the fat, then drain off the liquid.
- Add onions and cook a couple minutes, then add the garlic.
- Stir in flour.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients, except the water. Add to the meat mixture and stir.
- Reduce heat and allow the mixture to simmer for about 15 minutes while you prepare the rest of the meal. Stir occasionally.
- Add water as necessary to maintain a saucy consistency.
- Serve on a toasted bun. Toast your buns by buttering each half and placing them face down on a hot skillet or putting them under the broiler for a couple minutes.
