Instructions

  • Cast on 60 stitches.
  • Rows 1-4: Knit
  • Rows 5-8: K3, *P3,K3* to last 3 sts, K3
  • Rows 9-12: K3, *K3,P3* to last 3 sts, K3
  • Rows 13-60: Repeat rows 5-12 six times
  • Rows 61-64: Repeat rows 5-8
  • Row 65: K2tog to end (30 sts left)
  • Row 66: Knit
  • Row 67: K2tog to end (15 sts left)
  • Row 68: Knit
  • Row 69: K2tog, K2tog, K9, K2tog (12 sts left)
  • Rows 70-95: Knit
  • Row 96: K4, K2tog, K2tog, K4
  • Row 97: K5, YO, YO, K5
  • Row 98: K6, P1, K5 (now you have a buttonhole)
  • Row 99: Knit
  • Row 100: K2tog, K to last 2 sts, SSK
  • Row 101: Knit
